Quality is better than anything you'll get from any factory knife. Not only does it make your knife smoother and snappier but it helps center the blade better and gives it a more solid feel around the pivot.
The smoothness over the KVT bearings is instantly noticeable
If you are a knife collector, the first thing you probably do when you purchase a new or used knife is disassemble it, clean it out and lube the bearings and pivot. How many times have you done this only to be disappointed by what manufacturers call bearings. More often than not they are cheap arrangements contained in a plastic ring. I have found these seized up with dirt or rusted to the point where they have scored the blade and/or liners/scales. I just can't tolerate this. If I am going to spend good money on a good knife, I expect decent bearings as well. The only solution is to invest in a set of Skiff Bearings. You will notice a difference in the action immediately. I have Skiffs in all my high-end knives (and quite a few of the low-end ones). I often joke that I should take stock out in the company. I am also a cheap old codger so I wait until I have a few knives together, measure the bearings and put in a multiple order to save on postage. Do yourself and your knives a favor. Install Skiffs in all your knives. You won't be disappointed.
Absolutely improved the action of my ZT 0609. Terrific product and well worth the price!! It was also a perfect fit.
Skiff bearings are hands down the best bearings you can put in your knife.
