The new bearing compatibility list is now live, check it out here!
Cage bearings that allow more balls to be placed around the knife pivot than standard cage bearings. Which provides more support for the blade and decreasing stress on each ball. The ceramic balls are captured in the disc but are still free floating to prevent binding.
Includes Grade 5 ceramic bearings pre-installed.
- Increased blade support over caged bearings of same size
- Improved ball pathing around pivot
- Less pivot screw tightening required
- CNC machined from solid phosphor bronze

Best bearings you can buy. Super smooth action.
Just installed my first pair. I will continue to change out on all of my knives.
I bought several sizes of bearings for the various knives I own. You can tell by looking at these bearings that they are made of good quality components. I expect they will far outlast the typical nylon caged ceramics. All of them fit well according to the compatibility chart found on the Skiff site. They also don't have hollow backs like most of the brass bearings that factory knives often come with. When I took apart some of the knives with plastic bearings, they had a black layer on them, showing that the ceramic balls were starting to wear.
These are a good replacement for the plastic ones that keep coming in these high end knives. I open and close my knife many times thought the day every day and I am worried that the plastic ones just won't hold up. Not to mention the extra smoothness in opening doesn't hurt.
