Cage bearings that allow more balls to be placed around the knife pivot than standard cage bearings. Which provides more support for the blade and decreasing stress on each ball. The ceramic balls are captured in the disc but are still free floating to prevent binding.
Includes Grade 5 ceramic bearings pre-installed.

I routinely upgrade my knives with Skiff ceramic caged bearings and in this case, for a Chaves Liberation 229 they worked almost too good. The action was a little more "free" than I like so I switched to the Phosphor Bronze replacements offered for this size and it was perfect.
Skiffs always improve the action on knives.
