Cage bearings that allow more balls to be placed around the knife pivot than standard cage bearings. Which provides more support for the blade and decreasing stress on each ball. The ceramic balls are captured in the disc but are still free floating to prevent binding.
Includes Grade 5 ceramic bearings pre-installed.
- Increased blade support over caged bearings of same size
- Improved ball pathing around pivot
- Less pivot screw tightening required
- CNC machined from solid phosphor bronze

Order a set of these for a knife that really shouldn't need them. But I wanted to see if I could tell they were in there. Short answer is yes. Action is not only smoother but it seems more stable? Factory bearings were on plastic bases. I think these being thicker and metal is where the stable part comes in. No flexing. Anyway. Will not dissapoint in my opinion. Curious about their washers also.
I am a return customer. These bearings do a great job of smoothing the action.
Love the bearings and dealing with the Skiff team! They are the best!!!
The extra bearings make it smoother without a doubt.
ZT0450ti never felt like it should to me. Tried all the diff oils, cleaning, tension etc. Nothing really fixed what I can only describe as a rough opening. Not slow, but never smooth. Just installed the skiff bearings and I am blown away by how much better it feels. Completely solved my issues. Also the whole knife feels more solid. Worth every penny. Don’t hesitate to order, you won’t regret it.
