Cage bearings that allow more balls to be placed around the knife pivot than standard cage bearings. Which provides more support for the blade and decreasing stress on each ball. The ceramic balls are captured in the disc but are still free floating to prevent binding.
Includes Grade 5 ceramic bearings pre-installed.

Definitely much cleaner action with Skiff bearings installed on my Civivi Vision FG, plus the peace of mind knowing that much less dirt and pocket lint can find it's way into these bearings compared to OEM. The opening "thwack" and the closing "tink" are much more solid now too.
I just installed the 5 mm x1/16 bearings in my two new vanguard knives, and as usual it made the knife performance much smoother. I’m never disappoint with the Skiff bearings . I would love to try a Skiff knife one day … Mike
Haven't even received My Skiff but definitely not worried about that, l all ready know it Perfection. What a Fabulous invitation that all major knife corporation'z should have didn't. Thankfully the Skiff Family was here 4 Us. Absolutely Luv what U created 4 all U provide.
